INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Sporty Kids Softplay Terms & Conditions / Security / Rules of Play & Entry
We pride ourselves in providing a CLEAN, FRIENDLY and most of all SAFE environment for all our customers.
One third of each of our 5000sq ft buildings house an excellent softplay frame, manufactured to British Safety Standards and which is subject to regular inspections from RoSPA the industry standard for safe equipment.
Inhouse we perform daily inspections and cleaning on the play frame as well as more in depth weekly checks and a monthly ‘super clean’.
We have very specific rules of entry to ensure the maximum safety of all our customers see our RULES OF ENTRY below or poster at reception.
Our building complies with the Department of Health & Safety requirements, details of which can be requested if required, which includes correct fire evacuation procedures which are tested once a month.
Our kitchen and café are subject to inspection by the Department of Environmental Health and all café staff have or are working towards their Elementary Hygiene certificate.
Our general managers Chris & Ian hold a valid First Aid Certificate & Health & Safety Certificate and a well equipped first aid box is held at reception alongside the accident log book. Other members of staff also hold valid First Aid Certificates.
We have installed alarmed security doors and have CCTV surrounding the building.
We pride ourselves on our excellent staff who are there to make sure your children are safe and happy.
HOUSE RULES
- Parents/guardians must supervise children using the play facility
- We provide members of staff who monitor the equipment and have access to first aid facilities. These staff are not provided to supervise children using the facilities
- Children who are unwell must not use the facilities
- Height and age restrictions are in force for the safety of all children and our managers will enforce them
- Children must remove their shoes before playing on the equipment in the play area
- For hygiene reasons children should wear socks
PRIVATE HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Minimum hire 2 hours. Minimum cost £200. Deposit due of £50 (non-refundable).
Earliest access for hire is 6.30pm to allow cleaning of centre.
Please allow time for set up and clearing away as you will not be given access to the centre before your allotted time and any parties running over will incur a charge of £50 per 30mins.
10 minutes before the end of the hire period we will help you by calling the children to start collecting their shoes, jackets and party bags.
If bringing food then no heating facility will be provided unless by prior agreement. Our microwave is only for reheating baby milk or baby food. Please note plates and cups will not be available but can be provided at an additional cost. Due to health and safety no electrical devices such as kettles can be brought into the centre.
Standard “house rules” apply to all guests.
Please remember to advise all children that socks must be worn if playing on the equipment. We can supply socks at an additional charge.
